    Sir Hubert Wilkins was more than an adventurer, a photographer, film maker, navigator of submarines and small aircraft over the Arctic and Antarctic, he was a visionary. One of his visions was decades before the actual eventuality, the importance of weather stations and long-range forecasting. Here is a brief summary of this aspect of his illustrious career

  • Tarot, palmistry- a valuable tool in counseling or psychoanalysis

    Preconceptions and stereotyping have lead to many underestimating the use of either the tarot or hands in understanding people and their search for meaning and answers to problems faced in a rapidly changing world. I have been a practitioner and student of both disciplines for 25 years and further studies as I complete my Bachelor of Behavioral Studies (Psychology) have led me to even greater understanding of these ancient observations. I will be posting various articles on both. Hand analysis in particular has now been of considerable interest to empiricists with configurations and creases in the hand being related to some 1600 genetic syndromes.

  • The need for home policy on children's electronic social media exposure

    There is a growing body of evidence of the negative impacts of children's exposure to social media and a strong case for the dangers of life threatening addiction when the child is allowed to be interactive before cognitive development has matured. There is also mounting evidence it severely impacts of socialisation and intellectual quotient scores- I wrote this essay for my psychology assignment and would ask that others look at my findings.
