Well, it has been overall a good start in our region for 2020, unlike those affected with fires.
We had a comparatively mild January, Max average 30.2C, -0.8C below average, despite 2 days over 40C.
Warmer nights, average 14.9C: 1.3C above average.
A wonderful January rain for our drought affected area- 46 mls - above average - great for the garden and parched, very dry soils.
Fruit trees going gangbusters, a rainfall of nectarines, nachos, mulberries, pears, tomatoes, peaches...
And then in February, another 51 mls, almost up to half last years total rain fall! ... a great time to explore the area.
